About

Our agency is funded through California Department of Education – (Child Development Early Education & Support Division) and the Child Care Food Program (USDA). We have two types of funding - one is an all day care, this service is available for parents who are working, going to school, actively seeking employment, or actively seeking housing. We also have a half day preschool, this is a school readiness program for children ages 3 to 4 years of age. In our preschool program we currently use Houghton Mifflin Harcourt and in our infant and toddler programs we use West Ed-PITC & High Scope.

We currently have 15 facilities throughout Imperial & Riverside County covering over a 200 mile radius and serving over 800 families. All of our facilities are equipped with age and developmentally appropriate equipment to meet the needs of children and families it serves. Ages of children we currently serve are, six weeks to five years old.

United Families, Inc. has over 120 employees, which consist of Directors, Teachers, Teacher Assistants, Cooks, Housekeeping, Janitorial, and office personnel. All personnel are cleared through Department of Justice (DOJ) and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). All of our Directors and Teachers have a credential through the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).

United Families, Inc. mission is to provide quality Preschool and Early Education services to children. To assist families and employees in finding educational or employment opportunities. To locate charitable assistance on behalf of socially and economically disadvantage population without distinction of gender, race, color, creed, national origin, physically or mental challenges. To collaborate with other public and/or private agencies/organizations to achieve this purpose.

That parents feel confident that their children are in a safe and caring environment and know that they are receiving the educational foundations needed to succeed in life.
